Senior Secondary Certificate is equivalent to the XIIth standard or Intermediate School Certificate. Those who have successfully passed Secondary are eligible to take admission to Senior Secondary Programme. Eligibility for taking admission to Senior Secondary Programme is Secondary Passed and minimum 16 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought for after qualifying in the entrance test prescribed to pursue senior/ higher secondary courses under the open distance learning mode.
